About Chicago Metallic® 1496 Seismic Perimeter Clip
Chicago Metallic® 1496.00 Seismic Perimeter Clip is used in category C, D, E, and F seismic zones as an alternate method of stabilizing the perimeters of suspended ceiling components. Its robust construction allows contractors to use a standard 15/16” wall angle in lieu of the less desirable 2” angle while eliminating costly stabilizer bars and perimeter hanger wires. This accessory can be used with all Chicago Metallic™ grid suspension systems.
